La Liga outfit Real Valladolid have traveled to the United States as part of their preseason schedule where they will carry out training and friendlies but will be missing their Turkish striker Enes Unal.
According to the statement released by the Spanish club, the U.S. embassy in Madrid failed to issue Unal a visa for the United States despite initially approving his application.
The club said they are still hopeful the 22-year-old will join them in California, where they will be based.
Unal, on the other hand, has remained in Madrid where he will continue to train alongside another one of his teammates who was also denied a U.S. visa, Ghanaian defender Mohammed Salisu.
