Turkish football powerhouse Galatasaray have reached an agreement with AS Roma for their central defender Mert Cetin, according to reports in Turkey.
The Lions, who have been interested in Cetin for a long time, will loan the promising defender until the end of the current season.
The deal does not include an option to buy.
Cetin has been recruited to fill the role of Galatasaray’s currently injured central defender Luyindama.
He has been assigned the number 4 in the first team.
He is expected to arrive in Istanbul on Thursday or Friday and finalize his move before the transfer window closes on Friday, January 31.
The 23-year-old joined AS Roma from Turkish Super Lig outfit Gencerbirligi for €3 million in August, 2019.
