Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has announced the location of the Turkish Cup final today.

Turkey’s president Recep Tayyip Erdogan announced Diyarbakir as the location of the Turkish Cup final today during a congress in the city.

The final is set for May 9 2018.

“The Ziraat Turkish Cup final will be held on May 9 2018 in Diyarbakir’s new stadium.”, the president said as he addressed the crowd.

The new Diyarbakir stadium was completed last month and has a capacity of 33,000 spectators.
