Ertugrul Saglam on verge of being fired

Turkish manager Ertugrul Saglam is currently in charge of Iran’s Tractor Sazi however reports are suggesting not for much longer.

Ertugrul Saglam, who famously won the Turkish Super Lig with Bursaspor in 2010, has been in charge of Tractor Sazi since January however reports from Iran are claiming his time with the club is about to come to an end.

The experienced manager signed a contract with Tractor Sazi in January but he hasn’t been able to replicate the success he’s had in Turkey. His team are 11th in the league with one game left to play.

The 48-year-old’s appointment was met with great enthusiasm by Tractor Sazi supporters but his tenure has been disappointing. He has won just two games since he took over.

The Iranian press are reporting the firing of Saglam is imminent after the club also parted ways with its general manager just days ago.
