Trabzonspor midfielder Abdulkadir Parmak wants La Liga club's offer accepted

Trabzonspor midfielder Abdulkadir Parmak has told the club’s management to accept the transfer offer La Liga club Alaves have made for him.

Turkish Super Lig outfit Trabzonspor have received an offer for the transfer of their midfielder Abdulkadir Parmak from Spanish football club Alaves.

Parmak, who has lost his place in the first team since the arrival of Badou Ndiaye from Stoke City in the beginning of January, has personally requested for the transfer offer from the La Liga club to be accepted.

The 25-year-old wants to make the Turkey squad for the upcoming EURO 2020 tournament in the summer but feels he will not be invited by Turkey’s head coach Senol Gunes if he is not playing.

Whether Trabzonspor will accept the undisclosed offer remains to be seen.

A short-term loan offer until the end of the season could also be on the cards should both clubs come to an agreement considering that Parmak is highly rated by Trabzonspor chairman Ahmet Agaoglu.

Meanwhile, Abdulkadir Omur, who has been scouted by several major European clubs in the past, is close to returning to action after being sidelined with a a torn meniscus since August 2019.

According to club officials, 20-year-old Omur will return to training in two weeks time and be ready for first team duties in March.
