Pogba walks off field during match

Florentin Pogba decided to walk off the pitch in the 88th minute of the match against Antalyaspor.

Genclerbirligi defender Florentin Pogba, the brother of Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba, walked off the pitch during his team’s Turkish Super Lig home game against Antalyaspor today.

In the 88th minute of the encounter, Pogba began walking towards the sidelines and took off his jersey before he had even crossed the touch-line. The player was seen limping however it’s been reported that he had an argument with his teammate Ahmet Oguz just moments before deciding to walk off.

The selfish act left his team in a tricky situation as Genclerbirligi had used all 3 substitutes and were thus left with 10 min to finish the rest of the game.

Several Genclerbirligi weren’t happy with their teammate’s decision to walk off before the final whistle and began to attack him. Security staff quickly intervened and calmed the situation before it got out of hand.

It’s unclear what was said between himself and his teammate Oguz.

Antalyaspor ended up winning the game 1-0 through a Souleymane Doukara goal in the 78th minute.
