Turkish referee to officiate U17 EURO final

Turkish referee to officiate U17 Euro final

Turkish referee Halil Umut Meler will be the main referee during the final this weekend.

Halil Umut Meler, a Turkish referee licensed by FIFA, will be the match official calling the shots during the UEFA U17 European Championship final set to take place on May 20.

Meler will be in charge of the final which will be contested between Italy and the Netherlands at the New York Stadium in Rotherham, England.

Kick-off time is 20:15 local time (CET).

Robert Steinacher (of Austria) and Peter Kobor (of Hungary) will be his assistants. The fourth official will be Horatiu Fesnic (of Romania).
