Xherdan Shaqiri's agent in Istanbul for talks

Stoke City midfielder Xherdan Shaqiri is looking to leave the club and his agent will be in Istanbul this week to discuss a potential move.

Swiss star Xherdan Shaqiri could be set for a move to Turkey after his agent Erdin Shaqiri, who is also his brother, will travel to Istanbul this week.

There are reports in Turkey speculating on the purpose of his agent’s visit, some suggesting to broker a deal with Super Lig champions Galatasaray.

Fatih Terim has expressed his desire to bring the attacking midfielder to Turkey.

If a deal was to be made, it would most likely be on a loan deal from his current club Stoke City who were relegated from the English Premier League.
