Former Trabzonspor Riza Calimbay boss in talks with Swiss club Lugano

Riza Calimbay is in talks about taking the reins at Switzerland’s Lugano.

Trabzonspor’s former manager Riza Calimbay, who separated from the club a few weeks ago, is rumoured to be in talks with Swiss side Lugano about a managerial role.

The experienced coach is currently without a club and is looking to get back to management.

Apart from offers in Turkey, he has received an offer from the Swiss Super League and is said to be considering Lugano’s proposal.

“They made an offer and in return I’ve stated my views.” the 55-year-old said regarding the matter.

Calimbay has extensive managerial experience however he has not worked abroad before and if appointed, it would be his first tenure as a manager of outside of Turkey.
