Ryan Mendes leaves Kayserispor for UAE club

The left-winger has moved on to the United Arab Emirates league.

Cape Verdean international Ryan Mendes has left Kayserispor by mutual consent after activating a termination clause in his contract with the Turkish club and has signed for Al Sharjah football club from the United Arab Emirates.

The 28-year-old signed a lucrative three-year deal with his new club. The financial details are expected to be made public in the coming days.

Mendes will play alongside Brazilian forward Welliton, another former Kayserispor player who made the move to the Arab Gulf.

Ryan leaves on the back of a successful 2017/18 season, having scored 7 goals and made 7 assists in 33 appearances.
