Velez defender Fausto Grillo to join Goztepe

Argentinian defender Grillo will ply his trade in Turkey next season.

Goztepe has reached an agreement with former Velez Sarsfield centre-back Fausto Grillo. The Argentinian defender will arrive in Turkey tomorrow where he will sign a contract with the Super Lig club.

The 25-year-old will join on a free transfer after being released from the Argentinian club.

Following the mandatory medical examinations, the player will join his new teammates in their pre-season training camp in Erzurum, Turkey. This will be the Izmir club’s fourth signing so far this summer.

Goztepe club president Mehmet Sepil confirmed the transfer today during a interview with the Turkish press.
