Robinho wanted by Indian club East Bengal FC

Brazilian forward Robinho is on the radar of the I-League club and they are pushing for a deal.

Sivasspor’s Brazilian star Robinho could be set for a shock exit this summer. Indian club East Bengal FC have made an official transfer request for the 34-year-old and are in locked in talks with the Super Lig club, according to reports from India.

Sivasspor are reportedly asking for €200,000 for the former Real Madrid star whereas the Indian club’s officials are trying to lower the Turkish club’s demands.

The Super Lig outfit are willing to sell the player if the two clubs can find some sort of middle ground.

Robinho has asked for a salary of €2 million-a-year from the I-League club, an amount they have agreed to to pay for his services.

The former Man City striker has not made a request to leave and so this comes as a surprise to the club however with the current economical predicament in Turkey, the Super Lig outfit could be forced to make a deal.

Robinho scored 4 goals and made 3 assists in 14 appearances for his club during the previous campaign.
