Kayserispor received 2.2m bonus for Fenerbache win

The Anatolian Star caused an upset last weekend when they defeated Fenerbahce 3-2 in Istanbul.

Kayserispor’s bonus for dismantling Fenerbahce 3-2 in their away clash last weekend has been revealed.

The players received a hefty bonus of 2.2 million Turkish Lira for their victory.

Club spokesperson Orhan Tasci spoke about the bonuses given out to players and staff.

“We do not determine the bonuses before any match. We agreed on the bonuses before the start of the season instead. For home wins, the amount is 800,000 Turkish Lira (TL) and for away wins, 900,000 TL. For a win against the Big 3, the figure is 1 million TL at home and 1.4 million TL for away wins. We don’t have extra bonuses before or after any games. We decided on this as a board of directors at the beginning of the season and all of our players are aware and adhere to the policy.”
