Kayserispor exclude Kana-Biyik from squad

The Cameroonian international Jean Armel Kana-Biyik has been removed from the club’s squad indefinitely.

Kayserispor defender Jean Amel Kana-Biyik has been ruled out of future competitive fixtures with immediate effect.

The 29-year-old was sent off during his team’s Super Lig clash against Ankaragucu in the 11th week of the season for unsportsmanlike conduct. In addition to this, the club claim he has behaved unprofessionally during training sessions, competitive fixtures and team events.

According to the statement released by the club on their official website, the player will not feature for the club again.

“Due to his undisciplined behaviour during training, competitions and team events organized by our technical staff, in accordance with the decision of our club’s board of directors, first team player Jean Armel Kana-Biyik has been left out of the team indefinitely.”

The Cameroon international has been with Kayserispor for two years since making the move from Ligue 1 outfit Toulouse in August 2016 for €500,000.

It is unclear whether the player will remain with the club or if he will be sold in the upcoming winter transfer window.
