Sivasspor in talks with Robinho contract

The Super Lig club are negotiating with Brazilian forward Robinho to extend his deal.

Sivasspor are in talks with their Brazilian star Robinho to extend his deal, according to the club’s head coach Hakan Keles.

Speaking in a press conference ahead of his team’s Super Lig clash with Istanbul Basaksehir, the Turkish coach revealed the news.

“Robinho is happy with us and we are happy with him. Our management is talking with the player over a new contract. There’s just a little bit left. God willing, I think he will sign a new contract,” he said.

The 34-year-old, who turns 35 in January, former Brazil international joined the club on a free transfer from Ateltico MG in his native Brazil in January 2018.

His current contract expires at the end of the season.

He has featured in all of Sivasspor’s Super Lig games this season so far, scoring 4 goals and assisting 2 more in the process.
