Akhisarspor striker Elvis Manu refuses to return

The Dutch winger is still away on holiday while his teammates are undergoing training.

Akhisarspor winger Elvis Manu has not returned to Turkey despite being ordered to by his club. The Dutch player was supposed to return 3 days ago and join up with his teammates in Antalya where they are training since January 2 but it seems he has no intention of playing for the team again.

The Super Lig side’s coach Cihat Arslan has spoken with the club’s administration and has asked to have the player disciplined.

Manu joined Akhisarspor in July 2018 from Genclerbirligi on a free transfer and has made 15 league appearances for Akigo during which he scored 4 goals and made 2 assists.
