Ghana striker Asamoah Gyan sues Kayserispor

The Ghana international has opened a lawsuit against his club over unpaid wages.

Kayserispor and their striker Asamoah Gyan are at odds over unpaid wages and it’s uncertain if the player will continue to remain a player with the Turkish club.

The 33-year-old claims he is owed €150,000 for which he has instructed his lawyers to file a lawsuit against his employers.

According to reports in Turkey, Kayserispor’s legal representatives have asked for “more time” as they seek to sort out the unpaid wages Gyan is claiming he is owed.

The Ghana international, who recently announced he is coming out of international retirement to help his country in the upcoming African Cup of Nations, has had a tough time since joining the Super Lig outfit.

He has made just 13 appearances this season during which scored 3 goals in the red-and-yellow jersey.
