Kasimpasa want €15 million for Trezeguet

Kasimpasa want €15 million for Mahmoud Ahmed Ibrahim Hassan aka Trezguet

The club’s administration has slapped a €15 million price tag on their Egyptian midfielder.

Kasimpasa club vice president Hasan Hilmi Oksuz confirmed there are clubs from the English Premier League who are interested in signing their midfielder Mahmoud Ahmed Ibrahim Hassan, more commonly known as Trezeguet in Turkey.

However, the club are adamant on a €15 million transfer fee if a deal is to take place this summer.

“There were official offers from Aston Villa and another English club. One offered 5 million and the other, 7.5 million euro. However, these offers were not accepted by the club. Our club will not consider offers less than 15 million euro for Trezeguet,” Oksuz told reporters in Turkey.

The Egypt international has impressed since joining Kasimpasa, scoring 25 goals in 71 appearances for the last two seasons.

Oksuz also revealed the club received serious interest from a Saudi Arabian club last season.

“There was a serious bid from Saudi Arabia during the break last season. We did not accept the offer. Trezeguet will either bring 15 million euro or he will stay at the club. I think he will stay here. If he stays and performs well until the mid-season break, he can be transferred to another different for 15 million euro,” Oksuz explained.

The club official underlined that there is no club in Turkey who can afford such a transfer fee.

“There is no club in Turkey that can pay 15 million euro for Trezeguet. This is not possible. It is not easy for clubs even from abroad to pay these figures.”

The club’s vice president also said the club will begin the new season with current coach Kemal Ozdes and he has their backing.
