Italian clubs interested in Besiktas midfielder Ljajic

The Serbian midfielder has attracted interest from two Italian football clubs.

Besiktas midfielder Adem Ljajic’s services are wanted by Italy’s Hellas Verona and Udinese, according to reports in Italy.

The Serbian midfielder joined The Black Eagles for €6.5 million in the summer before the 2019-2020 kicked off, however, his performances during the first half of the Super Lig season have left much to be desired.

One stumbling moment for the time being is Ljajic’s salary. The two Italian clubs are reported to have contacted the player’s representatives and have expressed interest in signing Ljajic.

They are reported to be ready to make an official bid for his transfer if he is willing to reduce his wage demands.

On the other hand, Besiktas’ administration is looking to recoup what they paid Torino for the Serbian international’s transfer in the summer and are open to his departure due to his lackluster performances this season.
