Demba Ba signs for Goztepe

Demba Ba has signed for Goztepe from Shanghai

Former Besiktas forward Demba Ba has signed with Goztepe until the end of the season.

Goztepe has agreed terms with the Senegalese forward who was looking to move back to play in a European competition. The 32-year-old has previous experience in the Turkish Super Lig with Besiktas where he managed to score 27 goals.

Demba Ba, a name well known in Turkey, had played for Shenghai Shenhua 37 times and scored 29 goals in the Chinese Super League.

Goztepe have been on the lookout for a forward since they sold their top goalscorer Adis Jahovic to Konyaspor earlier this month.
