Club captain Zeki out injured

Club captain Zeki Yildirim has been ruled out injured for a lengthy period.

While training and preparing for their upcoming match against Galatasaray, Antalyaspor have revealed their captain has suffered a serious knee injury.

Following a scan by the medical staff, they have determined that the player’s anterior cruciate ligament has been torn and will thus need to have an operation to have it repaired.

The 27-year-old will be out of action for a while and the news has been met with dismay by the club’s fans.
