Emre Mor to miss upcoming international matches

Emre Mor tweeted out he will miss the international matches due to an infection.

Celta Vigo’s midfielder Emre Can has sent out a tweet telling fans he won’t be able to play in the upcoming international matches due to illness.

Emre Mor has sent out a tweet on his social media account letting fans know he will miss Turkey’s upcoming international friendly matches due illness.

Emre had the following to say on Twitter;

“Unfortunately, just like I missed Celta Vigo’s match the other day, I will also miss Turkey’s matches due to a fever. I wish our national team good luck in the matches against Ireland and Montenegro.”

The 20-year-old has been touted as the “Turkish Messi” due to his ability to dribble well with the ball and expectations are high of him in Turkey.

Mor signed for Celta Vigo in August 2017 and has made 19 appearances for his team in the La Liga. The youngster is highly rated and is one to watch for in the future.

Turkey’s manager Mircea Lucescu has decided to call up Fenerbahce’s Alper Potuk to replace Mor in the national team.

In addition to Emre Mor, Omer Toprak and Oguzhan Ozyakup will also miss the international friendlies due to injury and will be replaced by Irfancan and Mahmut Tekdemir.
