Kayserispor president: We’re in talks with Gyan, Varela

Kayserispor are negotiating new contracts with Asamoah Gyan and Silvestre Varela, the club’s president Erol Bedir announced today.

Erol Bedir, Kayserispor’s president, has released a statement informing fans that the club is preparing for next season, including negotiating with players Asamoah Gyan and Silvestre Varela.

Both players have one more year left on their contract and the club is looking to re-negotiate terms with both of them.

Bedir said the club would ideally like to re-negotiate financial terms and have them agree to performance-based revisions due to their injuries which have caused them to see very little playing time.

The president also emphasized that they working intensively with new manager Ertugrul Saglam and are preparing to reinforce the squad before next season.

“If players are transferred to other teams in the coming days or players leave by mutual agreement, new plans will be put in place to fill their poisitions.” the president said.
