Belenenses interested in free agent Erdem Sen

Portugese side Maritimo have released Erdem Sen, who is on the move for a new club.

Belgium-born Erdem Sen is a free agent after his contract has expired at Portuguese side Maritimo.

Reports in Portugal are claiming Belenenses is interested in securing the 29-year-old’s signature to bolster their midfield.

The defensive midfielder, who can also play as a defender, signed for Maritimo in August 2016 on a free transfer after being released from Turkish club Gaziantepspor. Interestingly, almost all of the player’s transfers have been as a free agent.

The player has played in Turkey, Belgium and Switzerland in addition to Portugal.
