Galatasaray met with Gomis' agent Etienne Mendy regarding future

The Turkish champions have held clear-the-air talks with Baeftimbi Gomis’ agent Etienne Mendy.

Galatasaray’s hitman Bafetimbi Gomis’ future continues to be uncertain even after the club met with the player’s agent Etienne Mendy.

A decision from the Frenchman’s side is expected within 10 days.

The 32-year-old has caused a lot of controversy within the club by asking for a major salary increase last month after claiming to have been offered €7 million per year from a club in China.

The player could leave for the Far East as the Lions are not keen on increasing his salary which is already a hefty €3,350,00 per year, before bonuses.

Fatih Terim is reported to be upset over the situation and wants the issue resolved so the team can prepare for next season’s objectives.
