Nuri Sahin opens water well in Ethiopia

Turkish international Nuri Sahin has spent a week in the African nation contributing to a water project.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Nuri Sahin and his former teammate Neven Subotic have opened a water well to provide clean drinking waterfor the people of Ethiopia.

The 29-year-old player partnered with his friend’s foundation for the cause, which has built over 100 fresh water wells and sanitary facilities in schools.

Sahin is in his final year of his contract and is reported to be on the transfer list at the Bundesliga club are plan to cash in on the player this summer. Turkish clubs Galatasaray and Besiktas were reported to be interested in the player’s services but no offers have been made.
