Johan Elmander recommends Norwegian youngster Sander Svendsen to G.Saray

Former Galatasaray striker Johan Elmander has recommended young prospect Sander Svendsen to his former club, highly praising him.

Johan Elmander, who played for Galatasaray during his career, has recommended Hammarby IF’s young striker, Sander Svendsen.

The 20-year-old is highly rated by his current club and is touted as being one of the future stars to come out of Norway in recent years.

Elmander believes the player would be a great fit for the Lions and would command a high fee if he was to be sold due to his promising talent.

The young striker is on the club’s radar.

Svendsen has scored 2 goals and assisted 2 more in 14 games last season for Hammarby. The player has a contract until June 2021 however Elmander believes he could be signed for a low transfer fee.

Elmander currently works as a scout for Galatasaray, monitoring and recommending youth from Scandanavia to the Turkish club.
