Philip Cocu takes charge of first training session

The Dutch coach finally donned the Fenerbahce shirt as he orchestrated his first training session today.
Fenerbahce’s new manager Philip Cocu stepped on to the club’s training ground today as he put the team through their first training session under his watchful eye.

The former PSV Eindhoven boss was impressed by what he saw and took the time to meet each player. He spoke at length about his goals and vision as well as his ambitions for the team.

Cocu emphasized to the team that success lies in teamwork rather than individuality.
The 47-year-old is said to be given full control of the first team’s tactics and is free to implement his own tactical system.
Club president Ali Koc, who was the mastermind behind bringing the Dutch coach to the club, was also present.
