Fenerbahce to loan Vincent Janssen, again

The Dutch striker is wanted by Phillip Cocu, who wants no less than three strikers in the first-team.

Fenerbahce are looking to transfer Vincent Janssen from Tottenham for another year-long loan.

Fener’s newly appointed boss Phillip Cocu has given his approval and the club’s management are already holding talks with the London club regarding the Dutch forward.

The Yellow Canaries have just one striker in their squad at the moment, inexperienced Ahmethan Kose.

With Fernandao sold and Roberto Soldado injured for at least another 10 days with a hand injury he picked up during training last week, the club are in dire need of reinforcements in the striker department.

Reports are claiming Fenerbahce’s management have offered Tottenham €2 million to take the 24-year-old back to Istanbul for another loan.

Vincent has openly said he wishes to leave Tottenham as he seeks regular playing time and would be open to returning to the Super Lig giants.

Janssen made 16 league appearances for Fenerbahce last season, scoring four times and assisting two goals.
