Fenerbahce appoint David Badia as head of youth department

The Yellow Canaries have added another foreign coach, David Badia, to their backroom staff.

David Badia has been appointed the club’s Head of Youth Department. The move is one of the latest signs of newly elected president Ali Koc that he wants to completely revamp the club as they enter a new era under his guidance.

The Spaniard previously worked at Super Lig side Antalyaspor as their assistant manager from August 2016 until February 2018 and Barcelona’s infamous youth academy, La Masia, prior to that.

The 44-year-old was also involved in the education of coaches in the FC Barcelona academy in Istanbul.

The latest addition to Fener’s backroom is continuous sign of newly elected president Ali Koc’s ambition to return the club to it’s glorious days.
