Josue joins Akhisarspor on a free transfer

The Portugese midfielder has joined the Super Lig side after being a free agent since December 2017.

Akhisarspor announced the signing of Josue Filipe on their website today. The attacking midfielder put pen to paper on a two-year-deal.

The FC Porto youth academy product is a familiar name in the Turkish Super Lig, having played for Bursaspor, Galatasaray and Osmanlispor in recent years.

The 27-year-old’s last transfer was in August 2017 from FC Porto to Osmanlispor, who were relegated from the Super Lig last season.

The player left the Ankara club and has now joined his new team, who will be hoping to cause an upset when they kick off against heavyweights Galatasaray on August 5th for the Turkish Super Cup.
