Rizespor dismiss Tarik Camdal rumours

The Super Lig minnows are not interested in the Galatasaray right-back.

Caykur Rizespor have released a statement dismissing speculation linking them with Galatasaray’s Tarik Camdal.

One of Super Lig’s new teams said they were working hard to make signings but Tarik isn’t one of them.

“As a club we will evaluate our modest budget and we will make strong transfers to our team as we have done before but we will never put our club in a financially difficult situation. We thank all of those that have given us strength and support during our ongoing transfer recruitment.”

“Part of the news outlets report that some football players are transferred to Caykur Rizespor without hearing from our members of the board of directors and this not only damages our club’s reputation but also creates information pollution. We continue to work towards our goal of making a strong Rizespor.”

The 27-year-old had been reported by Turkish media outlets to be on Rizespor’s radar but that rumour has now been put to rest.
