Rizespor terminate Leonard Kweuke contract

The North Eastern club have parted ways with their prolific striker.

Caykur Rizespor have released striker Leonard Kweuke from their squad.

The club have paid the 31-year-old €2 million in compensation.

The decision was announced by the club’s president Hasan Kemal Yardimci.

The Cameroonian international has experienced ups and downs in performance due to unfortunate injuries and incidents during his time with the Turkish club.

“Despite everything, he made significant contributions to this club. He contributed 48 goals while playing in 120 league and cup games. Leonard Kweuke is also the club’s all-time top scorer. But sometimes there are differences,” Yardimci explained.
