Fabian Castillo to Tijuana for $2.6m

The Black Sea Storm have shipped off the winger to Mexico.

Colombian winger Fabian Castillo has left Trabzonspor and signed for Mexican outfit Club Tijuana.

The Super Lig club confirmed the transfer on Turkey’s Public Disclosure Platform (KAP) today, disclosing that it will receive $2,650,000 for the player’s transfer.

Trabzonspor paid $3 million for the permanent transfer of the Colombian winger in 2016, after initially signing him on loan from MLS club FC Dallas.

After arriving to much fanfare, the player failed to live up to expectations and thus the club’s administration decided it was time to cut their losses.
