Kayserispor sign Tjaronn Chery from China

The Dutch midfielder has joined Kayserispor on loan.

Kayserispor have announced the transfer of Tjaronn Chery from Chinese Super League club Guizhou Hengfeng today.

The 30-year-old has signed a one-year deal with the Turkish club and will spend the 2018/19 Super Lig with Kayserispor.

The Chinese club have agreed to pay majority of the player’s wages, according to the statement released by Kayserispor.

“After conducting long transfer negotiations, we’ve agreed terms with Dutch player Tjaronn Chery. We’ve signed Tjaronn, who has experience in the English Premier League and the Dutch top flight, on a one-year-deal from Chinese club Guizhou Hengfeng. Majority of his wages will be paid by the Chinese club.”

Chery is an attacking midfielder, a number 10, who is also capable of playing on the wings.

Meanwhile, the club also announced the signing of recently released Rajko Rotman. The Slovenian was let go from Goztepe however his agent managed to turn things around rather quickly and has found him a new home in Kayseri.

He has signed a one-year contract and joined the club on a free transfer.
