Galatasaray sign Emre Akbaba from Alanyaspor

The Turkish attacking midfielder has moved to Istanbul for €4 million.
Galatasaray have completed the transfer of Emre Akbaba from Alanyaspor today.
The French-born midfielder has penned a three-year-deal with The Lions that will see him pocket €1,750,000 per season.
The player’s future was highly speculated this summer in Turkish media after he made it clear he would like to move to a bigger club in order to compete at a higher level. He was regularly linked with the Big Three in Turkey but Galatsaray have managed to beat everyone to the player’s signature.
After signing for his new club, he revealed Galatasaray has been his favourite team since he was a little boy.
The 25-year-old will wear the number 20 at his new club.
