Goztepe shock Fenerbahce with 1-0 victory

Philip Cocu’s men were beaten in their away fixture against Goztepe.

Super Lig minnows Goztepe edged out Fenerbahce 1-0 in the third week of Super Lig games on Saturday evening. The visitors and favourites, Fenerbahce, have started off the new season with 1 win and 2 losses.

The teams went into the half time break with a goalless draw.

Goztepe’s winning goal was scored by Halil Akbunar in the 66th minute of the game.

Fenerbahce managed to get just one shot on target even though they had more ball possession for the entire match.
