Rizespor approach Swedish coach Bunjaki

Albert Bunjaki wants Rizespor

The Black Sea Sparrowhawk are in talks with the Kosovar-Swedish coach Albert Bunjaki.

Caykur Rizespor are on the verge of appointing a new coach after being disappointed with current manager Ibrahim Uzulmez. Albert Bunjaki revealed to Swedish press that he traveled to Turkey to hold talks with Caykur Rizespor a few days ago.

“I’m ready to sign now. There are small details in the contract that need to be sorted out. My agent is in continuous talks with Rizespor,” he said.

“Caykur Rizespor have great supporters. I know a little bit of Turkish. I’ll learn more. I think after three months I’ll be able to hold press conferences in Turkish,” he added.

The 47-year-old is currently unemployed after leaving his post as manager of Kosovo’s national team in 2017.

Meanwhile, the Rize based club are still trying to negotiate a deal with Ibrahim Uzulmez to terminate his contract after holding meetings with him.

The club are still looking for their first win after 4 rounds of Super Lig games.
