Mehmet Topal undergoes hernia surgery

Turkish international Mehmet Topal underwent surgery to fix a hernia on Thursday.

Fenerbahce midfielder Mehmet Topal has successfully come out of surgery after complaining of pain during a regular medical check prior to the Turkey-Bosnia & Herzegovina fixture.

Topal traveled to Germany where he went under the knife.

His operation has been a success according to the club and is expected to return to Istanbul on Friday.
