Goalkeeper Esteban Alvarado leaves Trabzonspor

The unsettled goalkeeper has terminated his contract with the Super Lig club and has left Trabzon.

Costa Rican goalkeeper has put an end to his troubled days at Trabzonspor by terminating his contract with the Turkish club, according to local media outlets.

The Costa Rican international made just one appearance for the Black Sea Storm this season, against Sivasspor in the Turkish Cup.

The player, who is reported to not have received his wages for several months, has terminated his contract by mutual consent and has left the city.

Alvarado did not attend Tuesday evening’s training session.

The goalkeeper had made it known before that he was looking to leave the club as he looked for more regular playing time.

The club are expected to release an official statement regarding the departure tomorrow.
