Former Fener striker Henri Bienvenu joins 1.Lig club

The journeyman striker has returned to Turkey to continue his career.

1.Lig club Hatayspor have pulled off what could be considered a coup for the club given their low stature in Turkish football. The second division club have signed striker Henri Bienvenu from UAE oufit Al-Orooba.

He has joined his new team on a free transfer.

The 30-year-old had made a name for himself with his performances at Swiss club Young Boys which earned him a €4 million transfer to Fenerbahce in the summer of 2011. The player bounced from club to club since than, however, trying to find his form ever since.

After leaving Fenerbahce, he played for Eskisehirspor, Real Zaragoza, Troyes and Al-Orooba in the United Arab Emirates.
