Serdar Gurler leaves Spain for Goztepe

The Turkish winger has returned to the Super Lig for the second half of the season.

Turkish international Serdar Gurler has joined Goztepe on a one-and-a-half year loan, the club confirmed on Tuesday.

The 27-year-old signed for the La Liga club from now-relegated Osmanlispor before the start of the season for €2.5 million, penning a three-year contract with the Spanish side.

While he made 13 league appearances for Huesca, only 5 were as a starter, leaving him as a substitute for the rest of the time. He has not played an entire 90 minutes in a single game for the La Liga minnows.

Seeking more regular playing time, he has decided to return to Turkey.
