Basaksehir to part ways with 2 players; Kerim Frei and Milos Jojic

The Super Lig leaders will remove two more players from their squad this month.

Istanbul Basaksehir have told two of their players, Kerim Frei and Milos Jojic, to look for new clubs, according to reports.

The title front-runners deem the duo surplus to requirements as coach Abdullah Avci has his eyes set on the domestic double come the end of the season.

Whether the players will have their deals terminated or will be sold off remains to be seen but the coach has categorically ruled them out from his tactical plans for the rest of the season.

Dutch winger Eljero Elia, on the other hand, has been told he still has a role to play in the first team and will remain with the team until at least the end of the season. His contract runs until June 2020.

Frei’s contract expires in June 2020 while Jojic’s deal is until June 2021.
