Serdar Aziz Galatasaray news. Serdar Aziz could move to Fenerbahce - agent

The Turkish defender is transfer listed at Galatasaray after a controversial trip to the Maldives last month and a move away from The Lions is expected this month.

Galatasaray defender Serdar Aziz has plenty of suitors including Fenerbahce, according to his agent Haluk Canatar.

His agent spoke to Beyaz TV, a Turkish media platform, where he revealed his client has offers from several clubs in Europe. In addition to this, Aziz has personally spoken to Fenerbahce coach Ersun Yanal about a transfer, Canatar revealed.

As you know, Galatasaray’s management asked Serdar [Aziz] to find himself a club. It’s not as easy to find a club in the winter transfer window as it is in the summer. In Italy, there’s a limit of three non-European Union players. Galatasaray vice president Abdurrahim Albayrak gave us permission to find a club within Turkey, also. You know the situation,” he explained.

“We are in talks with clubs from Germany, Saudi Arabia and Spain. I’ve conducted all of the talks with Galatasaray’s permission. I also told Fenerbahce that we have the club’s permission.

“There’s a possibility for Serdar Aziz to go to Fenerbahce. He spoke with Ersun Yanal on the phone. We haven’t discussed financial details yet,” he added.

The 28-year-old defender has been transfer listed since it was revealed that he skipped Galatasaray’s final game of the first half of the season to go on an exotic vacation to the Maldives with his wife even though he claimed to be sick with a stomach bug.
