Kasimpasa striker Mbaye Diagne banned for 4 games

The Senegal star has been suspended for spitting in the face of an opponent during a Turkish Cup game.

Kasimpasa striker Mbaye Diagne has been handed a four game suspension by the Professional Football Disciplinary Committe (PFDK) for spitting at an opponent during a heated exchange in the Turkish Cup against Akhisarspor last week.

In addition to the suspension, which applies to both cup and league games, he has been fine 13,000 Turkish Lira.

Diagne is currently the league’s top goalscorer with 20 goals.

The PFDK have also handed out a two game suspension to Fenerbahce midfielder Eljif Elmas for a reckless challenge against an opponent player during his team’s Turkish Cup clash with Umraniyespor last week.
