Basaksehir sign Russian veteran Kudryashov

The Russian left-back has joined the Istanbul club on a free transfer.

Istanbul Basaksehir have made a last minute signing on Thursday evening. The current league leaders have completed the transfer of Fyodor Kudryashov, the club announced on their official website.

The 31-year-old Russian international has signed a one-and-a-half year deal with the Turkish club, joining from Russian outfit Rubin Kazan.

This is the first time in his entire career the left-back has ventured outside of his native homeland, spending his entire professional life in Russia.

Kudryashov, capped by 26 times by Russia, has played for Russian outfits Spartak Moscow, FC Rostov and FC Rubin Kazan, to name a few.
