Lille scouts monitoring Konyaspor youngster

The French club have set eyes on promising youngster Mucahit Can Akcay.

After being satisfied with their bargain purchase of Turkish right-back Zeki Celik from Istanbulspor, Lille are reported to be interested in signing another Turkish youngster; Mucahit Can Akcay.

The 20-year-old forward is currently playing for Konyaspor where he has impressed with his abilities. Despite his age and inexperience, the promising Turk was in the starting eleven during Konyaspor’s 3-2 away defeat against Besiktas last weekend.

Lille scouts were present at the game, assessing their potential transfer target.

Akcay has been steadily rising through the ranks for Turkey, having played for all of the youth squads and is currently playing for the Under-20 Turkish national team.
