Kasimpasa sack manager four hours after appointment

The Istanbul club have sacked their manager just FOUR HOURS after hiring him.

Turkish Super Lig minnows Kasimpasa have confirmed the appointment and sacking of Ibrahim Uzulmez, all on the same day.

Uzulmez, who is nicknamed “Crazy Ibo” in Turkey, had left Genclerbirligi last week after guiding them to promotion to the Super Lig to sign a one-year deal with Kasimpasa.

However, an unexpected turn of events have led Kasimpasa to dismiss Uzulmez just four hours after appointing him as Kasimpasa manager.

According to the statement released by the club on their official website, the two parties parted ways due to “differences of opinion.”

“With Mr. Ibrahim Uzulmez, there were differences of opinion during the negotiation of the contract and the parties gave up the agreement to sign a contract,” the statement read.

Reports in Turkey claim Uzulmez inked a one-year contract with Kasimpasa but due to a disagreement over transfer policies in the summer transfer window, the Turkish coach was shown the exit.
