Emre Mor’s agent blasts player for shady business

Emre Mor's agent Erik Alonso blasts player for shady business

The Turkish international is reported to be in talks with Galatasaray but his representatives have issued a statement condeming the player for his unprofessional behaviour.

Controversy-laden winger Emre Mor cannot catch a break it seems. The Turkish winger’s proposed transfer to Super Lig champions Galatasaray has hit an obstacle after Mor’s agent, Erik Alonso, put the winger on blast for attempting to bypass his services during contract negotiations.

According to the statements and images made public by Alonso, Emre Mor has allegedly attempted to negotiate a contract with Galatasaray directly rather than allow his representatives, WBD Capital, as initially agreed.

Alonso published multiple statements on his social media accounts condemning Mor’s alleged actions and providing what he claims are WhatsApp transcripts of part of the alleged conversation which show Emre’s brother discussing salary demands.

The alleged chat transcripts between Alonso and Emre’s brother.

It is alleged Mor’s brother has demanded an annual salary of at least €3 million and a signing bonus of €1.5 million from Galatasaray. If another club, such as Monaco were to approach Emre Mor, he would be willing to sign for a reduced €1.8 million, however.

Emre Mor has denied the accusations made against him by WBD Capital’s Erik Alonso.

Meanwhile, reports in Turkey claim Galatasaray have reached an agreement with Emre Mor and a transfer could be announced in the coming days. The 21-year-old midfielder has accepted an offer from Cim Bom that will see him earn €625,000 per season.
