Sassuolo sign Turkish youngster Mert Muldur

The young Turk has swapped Rapid Vienna for Italian outfit Sassuolo.

Itlaian football club Sassuolo have signed Turkish right-back Mert Muldur from Austria’s Rapid Vienna on Tuesday.

After the success the Italian club have had with their former Turkish full-back Merih Demiral, who they sold earlier this summer to Juventus €18 million and became the first Turkish player to ever play for the Serie A champions, Sassuolo have found another promising youngster in the name of Mert Muldur and are hoping to profit from such a transfer once more.

The 20-year-old promising talent made his senior debut with Rapid Vienna in May 2018 and quickly established himself as a regular first-team player. During his 47 appearances for the Austrian club, he scored two goals and made six assists.

The Austrian-born Turkey international has made two appearances for his country so far.
